Please always refer to the official General Competition Rules (CGR) to see if your car qualifies or not.
For HPDE, typically, a safe street driven car is fine. The driver must wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, and closed shoes with a Snell SA 2015 or better helmet. The more prepared the car the more safety requirements. Full race cars must meet full race car safety rules. See the GCR .
For wheel to wheel racing, full competition safety equipment is required for car and driver. Requirements vary by class. See GCR.
For High Performance Drive Events (HPDE) and Autocross (AX), no prior racing experience is required. Participants must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Ask for instructor help during registration if desired - instruction is available upon request during registration to ensure you get the support you need.
For wheel-to-wheel (W2W) events, only drivers with competition licenses are eligible to participate. We accept organization licenses from MCSCC, SCCA (full comp, pro, or novice with 1 sign off), WHRRI, BMWCCA (full), EMRA CADA, PCA (full), NASA (full), ACC (level 1 & 2), SVRA, and VMC.
