Racing Events
We provide top notch racing events for drivers of all skill levels. Drivers have access to instruction, practice and an extensive mutual support network to make sure you get the most out of your car and your time spent on track.
At every event, there are many ways to get involved!
Wheel-to-Wheel Racing
NSSCC’s long history centers around wheel-to-wheel racing. Race events have multiple sessions with many classes of cars.
New racers can get their competition license by attending a yearly driving school.
High Speed Autocross
In addition to wheel-to-wheel racing, events typically feature High Speed Autocross (HSAX). This lets drivers compete to set the fastest single lap times around a full road course. Multiple classes, ranging from stock to racing prepared, ensure that competition is exciting no matter what kind of car you drive.
High Performance Driving Education
Not ready for competition? Just want to see what your car was meant to do? Try a High-Performance Driving Education session and have a blast while honing your skills. All you need is a helmet and a car!
Many events have instructors available, so first timers can hit the track with confidence.
Event Support
There are many opportunities to support NSSCC events. Every event has opportunities to help with registration, timing and scoring, grid and corner stations.
If you want to join the fun without being in the driver’s seat, this is a great way to meet new friends and learn about racing!
Social Events
We get together regularly as a club to get to know each other, share stories and plan the future of the club.
Club Meetings
Club meetings happen monthly on the third Thursday at Pilot Pete’s in Schaumburg. Members are welcome to join to get club updates, learn about upcoming events and help plan for the future. We enjoy a meal together, and drinks are on the club!
Special Events
Throughout the year we plan special events like an Indoor Racing School, Race Cars and Coffee, and Sim Racing competitions. Many of these events are open to current and prospective club members, giving us a chance to meet new competitors.
Many Clubs - Shared Passion
NSSCC is one of the seven clubs that make up the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs (MCSCC). MCSCC member clubs work together to provide a yearly racing series, with prizes for wheel-to-wheel racing and high-speed autocross in a wide range of classes. No matter your car or your skill level, we have a class for you!
