We had a great time at our first sim racing event at Sim Racing South Barrington! It was a lot of fun meeting our new members, while watching seasoned veterans use their years of on-track experience in the virtual world.
We ended up with 24 racers, and did 4 heat races, with the winners and the 2nd place finishers with the three best race lap times competing in the final race. The final race had an exciting finish, with the top four finishers taking the checkered flag within 10 seconds of each other!
Congratulations to Dean, our overall winner, who won a free HPDE entry to NSSCC’s Salute to Speed 2026 Race Weekend! Also, congratulations to Nick who had the best lap time of the day – 57.915s! You can see the results of each heat below.
